Helping With Law Enforcement Needs

Mr. Fitzgerald,

I am writing to acknowledge the receipt of a grant from the Law Enforcement Charitable Foundation, Inc. As you know, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office exists to serve the citizens of our county to the best of our abilities. This grant from LECF will be extremely helpful in assisting to achieve and further advance the goals and objectives of our department.

With this gracious contribution of financial support, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office will be able to purchase a K9 bite suit to be incorporated into the training of our K9, Diego. Diego is often deployed to assist in high risk arrests as well as searches for people and articles. Diego’s effectiveness in these situations is paramount upon his level and quality of training. With the addition of this equipment, Diego will be best prepared to produce results when called upon.
