The Law Enforcement Charitable Foundation exists only on donations and sales of its materials and does not accept any federal money or federal assistance. If you share our passion for this mission of supporting police officers and the families of fallen officers, please consider a tax-exempt donation.
How are donations spent?
We take seriously the trust our donors place in us to use their donations exactly as we advocate. We have taken steps to hold down our overhead expenses, so the bulk of donations go directly to our mission of supporting police officers and the education of fallen officers’ children. With a $400,000 budget, LECF will be able to give 80% to 90% of that for scholarships for education and police departments in need of training or gear. LECF, is a chartered 501c-3 organization, 81-1594518, who gives back to the law enforcement community as much as possible.
Corporate Sponsorships Program
In 2025, LECF started the Law Enforcement Charitable Foundation Corporate Sponsorship Program to help financially support its key programs and services which honor the sacrifices of the men and women of our local police. The Corporate Sponsorship Program encourages and recognizes the generous contributions made by our corporate partners through four levels of donation:
Each Corporate Sponsor will receive ad space on the physical and online presence of LECF, the Intelligence Brief and recognition of their support will be published in the intelligence brief and online.
- James Fitzgerald Award – $150,000 and above
- Back the Blue Award – $50,000 to $149,000
- Friend of the Law Enforcement Charitable Foundation Award – $25,000 to $49,000
LECF is fully funded through the generosity of those who want to keep our local police fully equipped and local, like you.
