It is wonderful to have an organization like LECF that backs our LOCAL law enforcement personnel throughout our country.
During the 1960’s riots and civil unrest, I admired the restraint law enforcement showed when viciously attacked by those wanting to destroy what our founding fathers gave us. And whenever I had any contact with law personnel, I was treated with respect. (I noticed that others who did not treat police nicely usually received respect they did not deserve.)
A son of mine spent a couple of years in a South American country. Police there were run by the national government, not the local. He said citizens knew they could not automatically expect respect and kind treatment from their law enforcers.
Many of our good men and women have given their lives to protect us, and I feel honored to contribute to an organization that stands behind them.

Our law enforcement officers daily put their lives on the line in order to serve and protect. Yet, the news media all too often sides with those who are intent on creating mayhem, destroying property and endangering our officers. LECF is unique in that it covers all bases in supporting our officers. It comes to the aid of our officers tangibly with grants for needed supplies and to the families of the fallen. But, it also educates the officers and their supporters of the truth about such events as the street rioting. I wholeheartedly endorse the LECF.
